Enfield Methodist Circuit

Our Mission Priorities

Since 2017, the Enfield Circuit has named five key areas for our mission and ministry.

There is much excitement and more work to be done. We invite you to explore the five pillars that guide our work today.

Edmonton

Focusing on the redevelopment and growth of the large congregation at Edmonton Methodist Church to better serve the urban area.

The SPACE Project

A dedicated community initiative located in the Elsinge neighbourhood, bringing support and connection to local residents.

Working with Older Adults

Running the “Grace Years” programme in partnership with Methodist Homes (MHA) to tackle loneliness and provide care.

Children & Young People

Organising new community partnerships to look at critical areas such as youth violence and providing safe spaces for youth.

Developing Teams

Investing in training and development for our staff and volunteers to ensure our ministry remains sustainable and effective.

Priorities in Action

There is much going on within these priorities. We are moving from planning to action in several key areas:

  • Building Projects: We are looking forward to beginning significant building projects for the congregation at Edmonton.
  • Community Facilities: New facilities are planned for our community work with the Elsinge neighbourhood (The SPACE).
  • MHA Partnership: We are actively growing our partnership with our MHA “Live at Home Scheme” across the area.
  • Tackling Violence: We are playing a leading role in organising new community partnerships to address youth violence.

Be Part of the Story

Come and join in with what God is leading us into!

Ephesians 4: 2-6

Be completely humble and gentle; be patient, bearing with one another in love. Make every effort to keep the unity of the Spirit through the bond of peace. There is one body and one Spirit, just as you were called to one hope when you were called; one Lord, one faith, one baptism; one God and Father of all, who is over all and through all and in all.
